Semester Ending

Working on completing final for HCI522. Its very long and involved exam that covers a whole semester of work in research methods. I think that I have the experimental design part figured out. The proposed study methodology that I will use in my study is between-groups design.

Augmented Reality and Air App Mashup

This is a augmented reality view that I adapted from various tools. I wanted to develop a way to share 3d models of architectural designs.

I conduct a research project where I wanted to explore the topic of baby boomers in the sandwich generation. I have so many friends that are sending a child off to college in addition to caring for an older parent. I don't believe that a lot of studies have addressed the toll that increased technology demands take on the sandwich generation. This is the hypothesis that I began with.

Hypothesis:

1)     If the human computer interaction were usable for older adults then the workload on the Sandwich generation would decrease.

2)     The workload on the sandwich generation will be decreased if the younger and older generations receiving care has access to computers.
